Did you know that not all workers in Ontario are covered by WSIB? In fact, almost 25% are not covered. It doesn’t cost the taxpayers anything and is paid for by the employer. More funding from employers mean less money required by the taxpayer to provide health services that would normally be provided by WSIB for workplace injuries. The campaign is working towards 100% of workers being covered by WSIB.
